The design team that created the Australian Institute of Sports "Superbike" is seeking new challenges. Not satisfied with 20 world titles and UCI victories in track cycling from 1994 to present the team now looks to commercial sports products. RMIT University researchers Lachlan Thompson, Robert Danaher and Ian Wong have active research topics in bicycle design, canoeing, yachting, archery and protective helmets.

With access to a diverse range of specialist research facilities the team have turned their attention to commercial product design.
